The Alliance Francaise is a Global network made up of over 829 French Language and Cultural Centres in 135 countries around the world. It is part of the French Government's cultural network of French Embassies, Institut Français and Alliance Française.
by a group of eminent men, including the scientist Louis Pasteur, the diplomat Ferdinand de Lesseps, the writers Jules Verne and Ernest Renan, and the publisher Armand Colin, the Alliance Française is the largest network of French language and cultural centers in the world.
The network is dedicated to promoting French language and francophone culture in order to foster relationships between people of all nationalities, ethnicities, and races.
Each Alliance Française is a non-profit organisation, operated under local legislation and is managed by either a Board of Directors or a committee.

Founded in 2005, the Alliance Française de Lafayette is a nonprofit and member of a global network. Each Alliance Française is a local
language school, dependent on organic partners to promote the French language in their respective cities. We are proud to be serving the
rich and diverse francophone community in Cajun and Creole Country.
We are all volonteers and our board members are doing their best to promote the language in the community.
